Sophie Lee has around one year experience working as a relieving teacher in ECE,. During her ECE study and work as a relief teacher in New Zealand, Sophie has developed a strong commitment to play-based, child-led learning, with the support of intentional and responsive teaching practices. Sophie values the importance of collaboration and she encourages children to engage in group learning experiences that emphasize cooperation, empathy, and shared exploration.
As a Christian raised in a pastor’s family, Sophie deeply understands the importance of building a strong foundation of faith and character in a child’s life. Sophie also has two years of experience working as a Sunday School teacher at church, supporting children to develop their spiritual and holistic growth through hands-on activities such as visual arts, music, outdoor exploration and community service.
During free time, Sophie enjoys playing piano and travelling.
