Sonia worked in primary and secondary schools in India for 16 years, teaching English and Social Sciences. She is passionate about teaching specially pre-schoolers. Sonia‘s main strengths are Music, Creative arts and performances. Sonia worked as music artiste for TV and radio singing Christian music for the glory of God. Sonia was part of the church choir for 20 years as an alto singer. She holds a New Zealand teacher registration and having up-to-date curriculum knowledge with willingness to learn and try new things she is a great asset to Immanuel Preschool.
Laura is a gentle, kind and warm Early Childhood Teacher who has a good amount of experience in working in Early childhood setting. Laura has great mannerism and through her soft and gentle approach she gains the trust of children with ease. She has a great passion to enhance children's knowledge by asking them open ended questions and also by providing them with avenues where children feel intrigued to take their learning to next level. Laura brings a different flavour to the preschool through her strong Niuean cultural background and also through her acceptance and respect for other cultures of the centre. Laura enjoys spending time with her family and friends and also touring around the world during her free time.
Willien vosloo is an energetic, fun loving teacher who has a great passion to work alongside the children of different age groups in all our three centres. She has been working for Immanuel Preschool as a reliever for the past two years. During her course Willien gained theoretical and practical knowledge in providing caring and welcoming learning environment. She has a great Can do attitude which enables her to be flexible to the changing needs of the early childhood routines. She ensures that children’s needs are met and their learning is extended through a wide range of creative activities. Her strength is in presenting the centre inviting to whoever walks in the door. Willien enjoys browsing net and loves socialising with the friends and family during her free time.
Anjani is a very passionate teacher who believes that every child is unique and special. She has three years of experience working as an early childhood teacher at Immanuel Preschool and has gained theoretical and practical insight into the skills of extending children's learning and providing rich learning experiences to further their knowledge in all curriculum areas.
Purnima is a teacher with a good amount of experience in teaching in India. Having taught children of different ages in Secondary and primary schools, now settled with the Early Childhoods with passion and compassion.Purnima is a loving and caring teacher who makes every child feel that they are special. She believes that there are incredible potentials in every child and having given a great environment and opportunities child’s inborn qualities can be nurtured. Purnima has a passion to work alongside the children by preparing them to school. Purnima is creative and enjoys doing activities with the children. Purnima enjoys spending time with her family and browsing the net during her free time.
